１９８０年にメキシコシティに生まれ、国立大学の美術専門学校(ENEP Aacatlán)グラフィックデザイン科を卒業。イラスト、織物デザイン、絵画の専門コースを修了しています。Roberto Floresの作品は、邪悪、怪奇なことや見えない世界の探検です。アートを通じて暗いユーモアや悪癖、悪趣味なもの、低俗、異常なものから美を見出だしています。

The work of Roberto Flores (aka RataRey) is an exploration of the sinister, the grotesque, and the hardly visible connections of the world. He likes to look for beauty in dark humor, bad habits, bad taste, the vulgar, the ordinary, and the aberrant. Born in 1980 in Mexico City, he studied Graphic Design in the ENEP Acatlán (UNAM) and attended special courses on illustration, textile design, drawing, and other disciplines to complement his formation.
